The UK ban on new diesel and petrol engines that is now less than ten years away means that manufacturers are already investing in the switch to electric.

Even if you’re not a petrolhead (a new name for car enthusiasts is definitely going to be needed soon), it’s clear that the investment opportunities in this sector have gone up a gear.
