PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — The Rhode Island Department of Transportation will speak Thursday ahead of the weekend closure of Route 10 north in Providence.
Part of where Route 10 meets Route 6 will be closed for repairs starting at 7 p.m. Friday, and will reopen at 5 a.m. on June 27.
The Department of Transportation said the closure will cause heavy traffic. They urge drivers to avoid the area and to seek alternative routes.
