How To Install Qualcomm QDLoader HS-USB Driver
There are basically two ways to install the Qualcomm QDLoader USB driver. Either you can perform the simple installation or you have to do a manual installation using the ADB. We will take a look at both of the ways…!
Steps To Directly Install Qualcomm QDLoader HS-USB Driver
Step-1 Depending upon your PC compatibility download Qualcomm QDLoader 32 or 64-bit installer zip. We installed it on a 32-bit PC. So, we will demonstrate the same.
Note: Irrespective of System is 32-bit or 64-bit the process of installation will be the same.
Step-2 First go to the folder where you saved the 32-bit installer zip file. Extract it and open the setup.exe file.
Step-3 After you open the exe file, Installer will begin and You have to choose the set-up type. Select FreeBld setup type.
Step-4 Then you will see the InstallShield Wizard. Click Next to continue.
Step-5 Then you will see the End User Agreement. Click Accept to continue.
Step-6 Now Installation will begin. It will take a while to install.
Step-7 After Installation completes, click Finish to end the process.

Manually Installing QDLoader USB Drivers
To perform this method, you need to have some tools and follow some basic guidelines.
- you have to install ADB & Fastboot
- A smartphone with Qualcomm chipset
- A PC/Laptop with Windows 7/8 or above.
- A USB Cable.
- your device must have USB debugging enabled on it. It’s simple to do.
i) Go to device Settings > About Phone > Build Number> Tap on it 7 Times.
ii) Again go to Setting > Developer Option > tap on enable USB Debugging.
Step-1 First turn off your device. Then reboot into Download mode. To do it, Press Power on button + Volume down button
Step 2 – Now go to the folder where you’ve installed ADB. In there, Open Command Window by pressing Shift + Right-click button.
Step-3 From the drop-down menu select Open Command Window here.
Step-4 Now connect your device to PC/Laptop using USB Cable.
Step-5 In the command window, type the following command.
adb devices adb reboot edl
Step-6 Now go to the Control Panel > Device Manager. Now your driver will be installed but you have to update it.
Step-7 Right-click on the device under Other Devices > Select Update Driver Software.
Step-8 In the next screen, click on browse for driver software > Choose the folder where USB drivers are installed.
Step-9 Select Install this Driver Software Anyway if it asks for publisher verification
