Geely says the founder will move to smartphone manufacturing

Shanghai (Reuters) -Chinese car maker Zhejiang Geely Holding said on Tuesday that founder Eric Li has launched a new company specializing in the manufacture of smartphones. The company, called Hubei Xingji Technology Co Ltd, has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the Wuhan National Economic and Technological Development Zone and established its headquarters in central China to develop smart devices such as smartphones.
