HALFMOON – A man was arrested after being accused of turning off the power at his ex-wife’s residence, keying her car and violating an order of protection.

The Saratoga County Sheriff’s office responded to a call of a prowler at a Halfmoon residence at 1 a.m. Sunday. Gyoom A. Vyent, 45, of Halfmoon, was arrested and charged with criminal contempt and criminal mischief felonies and a criminal tampering misdemeanor. Damage to the car was estimated at $250.

He was processed and released on an appearance ticket by Judge James Hughes in Clifton Park Town Court and is scheduled to appear in the Halfmoon Town Court on a later date.
