MediaTek has just released its new Dimensity 700 chipset with 5G support for mid-range smartphones. And it looks like one of its firm customers is Huawei. The same Chinese tech firm that recently unveiled its 5nm processor called Kirin 9000 for Mate 40 series. This piece of information comes from tipster Digital Chat Station’s Twitter account.
As per the account, this particular smartphone is supposed to feature 6.5-inch IPS-display along with a camera hole on the top left corner. It will be limited to 60Hz and FHD+ resolution. As for the camera, you can expect 48-megapixel primary sensor along with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide, 2-megapixel macro and 2-megapixel portrait sensors. At the front, there could be a 16-megapixel sensor.

Also mentioned is that this Huawei phone with MediaTek Dimensity processor will have 4000mAh battery and will support 40W fast charging.
Made using 7nm process, Dimensity 700 5G includes 5G Carrier Aggregation (2CC 5G-CA) and 5G dual SIM dual standby (DSDS) features along with fast speeds on 5G-exclusive Voice over New Radio (VoNR) services.
As for the processing power, the Dimensity 700 5G brings two Arm Cortex-A76 big cores in its octa-core design with up to 2.2Ghz clock speed. To save the battery life, this new processor includes UltraSave Network Environment Detection, MediaTek 5G UltraSave OTA Content Awareness, Dynamic BWP and Connected Mode DRX. So, this will manage a device’s 5G connection so you can get more battery performance.
It also supports 90Hz refresh rate panel with FHD resolution along with 48-megapixel or 64-megapixel camera sensor support with AI-bokeh, AI-color and AI-beauty features.
