It’s a shame this wild Nokia phone concept will not become a reality

Nokia used to release rather odd-looking phones back in the day, like the Nokia N93, for example. That has not been the case for a long time now, though. Well, Yanko Design just released a wild-looking Nokia phone concept, which would turn some heads if it ever became a reality, but that will unfortunately never happen.

This wild-looking Nokia phone concept would easily turn heads if became a real product

Just to be clear, this is a third-party concept, Nokia has nothing to do with this. In any case, if you check out the gallery below the article, you’ll see the so-called Nokia Infinity Pro. That’s the name Yanko Design went with. It’s also worth noting that AndroidLeo is the designer here.

This pill-shaped smartphone definitely looks unique. It has aggressive curves, and would definitely feel different to hold and use. A centered display camera hole is located at the top of its display.

There are two separate islands on the back. The top one is reserved for the cameras, two of which are included there. In the bottom one, you’ll notice a second display. Yes, not only does this phone has a wild shape, but also a second display on the back.

This device even has a second display

The second display on the phone is round, and it’s about the size of the camera island. Nokia branding is rather prominent on the back, and the back cover is also interesting. It could be plastic or something like that, it surely is not meant to be glass.

We also noticed what we believe is a speaker on the back of the device, below the second display. A power/lock key sits on the right-hand side, while the volume button are on the left.

It’s a real shame smartphone OEMs are not releasing such wild-looking devices. We had a lot more of those back when cellphones were around, and around the time cellphones were stepping over into the smartphone territory.
