LG announced several new monitors to meet the needs of gamers and artists at CES 2021. The new monitors come from LG’s UltraGear, UltraWide, and UltraFine lines and range from 27 inches up to 40 inches. LG hasn’t shared the pricing details or availability plans for its new monitors at this time.
The new LG UltraGear gaming monitors, the 27GP950, 32GP850, and 34GP950G, have a 1 ms response time and cover 98 percent of the DCI-P3 color gamut. They also all support HDMI 2.1.
LG UltraWide monitor 40WP95C is built for multitasking. It has a 40-inch curved display with a 5K2K (5120 x 2160) resolution and a 21:9 aspect ratio. Creators should love the fact that it covers 98 percent of the DCI-P3 color gamut and 135 percent of the sRGB color space and that it’s HDR10.
We covered the LG UltraFine 32EP950 in more detail yesterday. It’s an OLED monitor with a static contrast ratio of 10,000,000:1. As it’s an OLED monitor, it delivers deep blacks and color accuracy.
