A fairly reliable leaker has offered a number of claims relating to the September 15 “Time Flies” special event, including Apple bringing out a new color option for the “Apple Watch Series 6.”
Offered via a number of tweets posted early on Sunday, leaker “L0vetodream” offered a few more details of what to expect during the “Time Flies” event on September 15. While potentially thought to be the venue for the launch of the “iPhone 12” and other products, the leaker’s tweets all seemingly relate to the “Apple Watch Series 6” that’s also anticipated to surface.
The most clear tweet of the collection is the most recent of the group, simply advising there will be a “new color for Apple Watch.” No further details about the model were offered in the tweet, nor in replies to other Twitter users.
Currently, the Apple Watch is offered in gold, silver, and space gray for the aluminum case, as well as natural, gold, and space black for the stainless steel case, titanium, and white ceramic. Apple is rumored to be introducing a plastic version of the Apple Watch, which could offer a wider opportunities for color variation.
A second tweet is harder to decode, as it states “quick charge for Apple ( )”, with the enlarged gap between the brackets indicating it will be a product name. Products including iPhones and iPads offer fast charging capabilities already, which means the tweeter intends the message for another product that doesn’t already have the capability, such as the Apple Watch.
A third tweet simply states “online Sep 15,” which could be translated to mean multiple things, but it probably relates to sales. It is most likely the tweet is stating online preorders for new products will commence on the same day as the event itself.
The tweeter “l0vetodream” has a good track record relating to Apple product launches, which suggests the tweeted details are probably correct.
