PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Education Department has barred teachers and students of Peshawar schools from using their mobile phones during school hours.

In a notification issued by district education officer (DEO) Peshawar, students and teachers will not be able to use their phones during school timings.

According to the notification, the teachers would submit their mobile phones with the principal or head master.

It asked students to switch off their phones and deposit them with concerned teachers and collect them while leaving for home.
