Realme has launched a new mid-range 5G smartphone in China. It’s the Realme V15 5G and the smartphone is powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 800U chipset.
Realme V15 starts at CNY 1,499 ( ₹17,000 approx) for the base model with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. It also comes with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage that is priced at CNY 1,999 ( ₹22,600 approx). Realme V15 has three colour options of silver, blue and ‘Koi’ which has a gradient finish. The smartphone has a punch-hole display with the rear cameras stacked horizontally on the side.
In terms of specs, Realme V15 5G features a 6.4-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with a 180Hz touch sampling rate. The smartphone also has an in-display fingerprint sensor. Realme V15 5G is powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 800U chipset paired with Mali-G57 GPU.
On the Realme V15 5G there’s a triple camera setup featuring a 64-megapixel ultra wide angle lens, an 8-megapixel wide angle lens, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. For selfies it features a 16-megapixel punch-hole camera.
Realme V15 5G packs a 4,310mAh battery with support for 50W fast charging. The company says the phone can charge up to 50% in just 18 minutes. It has a super power saving mode as well. Connectivity options on the Realme V15 5G include dual SIM support, USB Type-C port, dual 5G, 4G LTE, and Bluetooth 5.1. On the software front, Realme V15 5G runs Android 10 with Realme UI layered on top.
