Respawn’s Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is available and that means we’re hearing about the first batch of issues plaguing the game on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Windows PC.

There are a variety of bugs, glitches, and performance issues impacting the latest entry in the Star Wars catalog of games. Some of these issues are minor bugs, others are more problematic.

While some of these issues can be solved in minutes, others will require a fix from Respawn in an update down the road. We expect a flurry of updates this month and next as the developer works to correct some of the initial issues with the game.

While we wait for the next update, take a look at our list of fixes for the most common issues plaguing the game right now.

How to Fix Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order Download Problems

Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order requires a pretty big download so it could take some time to complete. Mileage will vary based on your connection.

We expect download times to improve as the rush to play the game dies down, but there are some things you can try if your download is taking too long or if it gets stuck.

If your game download gets stuck, try pausing the download, waiting a few seconds, and starting it again. If that doesn’t work, try cancelling the download (not ideal, we know) and restarting it.

If the actual speed of the download is abnormally slow, try plugging your ethernet cable directly into your console or Windows PC. This could speed up the download, especially if your system is far away from your router.

If none of that works, you should try restarting your router. Unplug your router, wait a minute or two, and plug it back in.

How to Fix Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order Installation Problems

Again, the game requires a sizable chunk of space and storage issues can sometimes prevent games from installing properly. If you’re having issues installing the game, make sure it’s not related to storage.

If you’re playing the game on Xbox One, go to the My Games and Apps section and check how much storage you’ve got on your internal/external storage.

If you’re playing it on the PlayStation 4 you’ll need to head into your console’s Settings and check for your available space.

If you’re positive you have enough space, but the game still won’t install properly, try hard resetting your console.

EA notes that you’ll need to play through the game’s tutorial and “wait until you’ve met your new allies and BD-1 before you’ll be able to customize your Lightsaber, or change how BD-1 or the Mantis look.”

Once you do that, you’ll find your bonus lightsaber parts at any Lightsaber workbench in-game.

To apply the bonus skins, you’ll need to pause the game, choose Customization, select what you want to customize, and pick what you want to change.

If you’re looking for the Deluxe edition art book and “Director’s cut” behind the scenes videos, you’ll find those in the main menu under “Bonus Content.”
