The Division 2 on Xbox and PC isn’t done yet, will receive more content later this year

The Division 2 is the sequel to Ubisoft’s hit open-world ARPG, the Division, set in a faithfully recreated Washington D.C. The game has already received plenty of post-launch support and content updates, culminating in the recent 4K / 60fps patch for Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and PS5. The last major update for the game was supposed to be Title Update 12, released at the end of last year, but the Division 2 team took to Twitter today to announce a change of plans.

According to the announcement, the Division 2 will receive additional content in 2021, thanks to a dedicated fanbase that didn’t want to see support for the game end. Whatever new content they’re planning is still in the early stages, so there are no details on it yet, but it should arrive before the end of the year. This is great news for the Division 2 fans.

Finally, the announcement mentioned that the Division 2 team is hard at work fixing several critical issues affecting the game right now. They’re actively investigating the crashes many players are experiencing, and are “close to finding a fix” for the graphical issues on PS5.

If you haven’t tried the Division 2 yet, it’s in a great place right now (especially on next-gen consoles!). To get the most out of the Division 2, though, consider investing in one of the Best Headsets for Xbox Series X|S to better communicate with your team and hear everything that goes on in Washington D.C.
