BEACHWOOD, Ohio — Theft from auto: Concord Road

At 8:15 a.m. Sept. 10, someone entered an unlocked car parked in a driveway and stole a driver’s license, $30 cash and Apple AirPods from the car’s owner, a woman, 26.

Theft from auto: Greenlawn Avenue

At 10:50 a.m. Sept. 10, a woman, 49, reported that her wallet was stolen from her unlocked car during the previous evening. The wallet contained $120 in cash, her driver’s license, credit cards and health care cards.

Theft from auto: Woodway Road

At 9:05 a.m. Sept. 10, it was reported that two unlocked vehicles were entered while parked overnight in a resident’s driveway. A wallet was removed and found on a nearby sidewalk. Stolen was $260 cash.

Theft: Cedar Road

At 3:50 p.m. Sept. 9, a male suspect stole a pair of sunglasses valued at $420 from the Sunglass Hut at Beachwood Place mall, 26300 Cedar Road. The suspect was not apprehended.

Auto theft: Brentwood Road

At 7:55 a.m. Sept. 10, a woman reported that two cars were stolen from her home’s driveway during the previous nighttime hours.

On Sept. 11, Euclid police located one of the stolen cars in that city. Additionally, Euclid police arrested a boy, 17, in connection with the theft. Other suspects may also be involved.

Theft: Woodway Road

At 9:35 a.m. Sept. 10, a woman, 53, reported lawn furniture valued at $150 was stolen from her yard.

Theft from auto: East Groveland Road

At 5:30 p.m. Sept. 10, a woman, 36, reported that someone entered her unlocked car and stole $8 in cash.

Theft: Cedar Road

At 12:55 p.m. Sept. 11, a Cleveland man, 28, was arrested for stealing a sweatshirt valued at $55 from Dillard’s at Beachwood Place.

Burglary: Amhearst Circle

At 10:30 a.m. Sept. 13, a woman, 45, reported that someone burglarized her apartment. Stolen were two laptop computers worth a total value of $581, as well as other belongings totaling more than $100.

OVI: I-271

At 6:20 p.m. Sept. 13, police received a report of an unconscious motorist whose car was stopped on the I-271 southbound exit ramp at Harvard Road. It was subsequently found that the driver, an Orange man, 47, was intoxicated.

Police charged the man with OVI and having a blood-alcohol content of greater than .17. A driver is considered impaired in Ohio if showing a blood-alcohol content greater than. 08.

Theft from auto: Cedar Road

At 9:40 a.m. Sept. 14, a woman, 47, reported that someone entered her unlocked car as it was parked in the lot at 27050 Cedar Road, and stole $200 cash, as well as her driver’s license and Social Security card.

Theft: Cedar Road

At 1:20 p.m. Sept. 14, a male suspect stole a pair of sunglasses valued at $375 from the Dior store at Saks Fifth Avenue at Beachwood Place. The suspect was not apprehended.

Theft from auto: Concord Drive

At 4:15 p.m. Sept. 14, a man, 74, reported that his wallet was stolen from his unlocked car. The wallet contained $20 cash and the man’s driver’s license.
