Best answer: Yes, there is a Resident Evil 3 collector’s edition. With that said, it was only available from GameStop and is now out of stock, with Capcom not mentioning any plans to get it back in stock. Unless you want to risk going through a third-party website like eBay, it’s best to just go for the standard version of the game.

Yes, Capcom has made a collector’s edition for Resident Evil 3. This special package includes a collector’s artbook, a map of Raccoon City, a digital soundtrack with music from both Resident Evil 3 and Resident Evil Resistance, as well as an 11-inch tall statue of Jill Valentine. It all comes in a unique S.T.A.R.S. box for easily packing it away.

Tough to find

Unfortunately, not only was this collector’s edition limited to GameStop, but it’s now completely out of stock. Unless you’re willing to pay exhorbitant prices through a third-party retailer such as eBay, it’s best to just sigh and grab the standard version of the game. It’s possible that Capcom will bring the Resident Evil 3 collector’s edition back in stock at a later date but we wouldn’t bet on it.

If you want an idea of what the game will play like and how this remake has changed things up, you can try out the demo, which is available on Xbox One and PC right now. Resident Evil 3 is currently scheduled to release on April 3, 2020.
