Follow the steps given below to set how much RAM Microsoft Edge gets to use:

  1. Open Microsoft Edge and click on the three-dot icon in the top right corner.
  2. Select Settings
  3. On the left, select System and performance.
  4. Under ‘Manage your performance’, enable Resource controls.
  5. Here, you’ll find the option to choose when to control resources. If you want to limit Edge’s RAM usage only when you’re gaming, select When you’re PC gaming.
  6. Alternatively, if you want to limit Edge’s RAM usage regardless of whether you’re gaming or not, select Always.
