Mumbai, May 5: The Motorola Edge 50 Ultra launch is expected in India for many weeks; however, the company has shared no plans for its launch date yet. Motorola’s Edge 50 Ultra smartphone is expected to offer higher storage, RAM, a pOLED screen, and many exciting flagship features. Ahead of the launch, many rumours surfaced about its possible launch in India along with expected specifications. The device is already available in some regions, like Europe and Latin America.
According to a report by Times of India, the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra is set to make its debut with a flagship Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor, coupled with an Adreno 735 graphics processing unit. The device is expected to share some similarities with its Pro variant available in India, such as the battery and camera setup, but with a few tweaks in the design and other details, the smartphone might set itself apart. The Motorola Edge 50 Ultra is likely to be available in the same range of eye-catching colours for the Indian market as the UK variant, including Nordic Wood, Forest Grey, and Pantone Peach Fuzz. The Indian variant might even feature a real wood back and vegan leather for a touch of luxury. As per the report by Times of India, the smartphone is expected to sport a 6.7-inch pOLED display with a 2712×1220 pixel resolution. The display is said to offer a maximum brightness of 2,800 nits, a 144Hz refresh rate, and HDR10+ support. The report also suggests that it could come with 3D Corning Gorilla Victus protection for added durability.

The new Edge 50 Ultra is rumoured to offer a maximum of 1TB UFS 4.0 storage and might pack a 16GB LPDDRX5 RAM. The upcoming Motorola smartphone may to have the same 4,500mAh battery as the Motorola Edge 50 Pro variant in India. However, the report said it could offer 25W wired and 50W wireless charging support instead of 120W TurboPower and 50W wireless charging in the Pro variant. The Motorola Edge 50 Ultra camera setup is expected to include three cameras. The primary camera is expected to be a 50MP shooter, the telephoto lens is expected to be a 64MP shooter with 3x optical zoom, and it might also have a 50MP ultra-wide lens. The Motorola Edge 50 Ultra price in India is expected to start from Rs 80,000 or Rs 90,000.
