The OPPO A78 5G, as reports say, is likely to have its launch on the 14th of January, 2023. Some of the specifications of the smartphone are also now known.

As per a report by Appuals, the OPPO A78 5G smartphone is going to have its launch in India on the 14th of January, 2023. The smartphone is going to be a budget smartphone which will be priced at about Rs. 18,500 or Rs. 19,000.
A live image of the “About Phone” section of the OPPO A78 5G smartphone has also been shared. The image has revealed some of the specifications of the upcoming smartphone.
The upcoming OPPO A78 5G smartphone will have a model number of CPH2495 and will be powered by the Mediatek Dimensity 700 Octa-Core processor. The smartphone will also operate on the Android 13 operating system along with the ColorOS custom user interface.
The image also confirms that the smartphone will have a variant with 128GB of internal storage and a RAM of 8GB. A 4GB RAM expansion technology is also there with the smartphone.
On the rear, the smartphone will have a dual camera setup with a 50MP main camera. There will also be a 2MP secondary camera on the rear, but it is not sure if it is a depth camera or a macro camera.
The device will also have a battery backup of 5000 mAh which will support a 33W SuperVOOC fast charging feature as well.
