Vivo to launch this budget smartphone soon, here’s everything we know so far

Vivo appears to be on a launch spree lately. The company recently expanded its affordable premium range with the launch of V30 series and the budget range with the T3x 5G smartphone. Now, it looks like the company is set to launch a new mid-range smartphone likely to be dubbed as Vivo V30e.

The handset will be a part of the latest V30 series and is likely to be an affordable version of the V30 and V30 Pro similar to the V29 series.

Vivo, however, hasn’t officially confirmed the launch details of the upcoming V30e smartphone. However, several leaks and rumours have revealed a couple of details about the unannounced smartphone.

For instance, the Vivo V30e will be a toned-down version of the V30 Pro. This means it will miss out on the new Zeiss treatment that the Pro version comes with. Moreover, we can also expect it to be powered by a rather modest chipset compared to the V30 and V30 Pro smartphones.

Meanwhile, Vivo has announced the T3x 5G smartphone in India today. The Vivo T3x 5G boasts a 6.72-inch 120Hz FHD+ Ultra Vision Display, powered by a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 processor for smooth performance. Its 8-core CPU architecture ensures fast processing, while the GPU enhances gaming graphics. With extended RAM 3.0, it supports up to 8 GB of virtual RAM and multitasking with up to 25 active apps. The phone offers expandable storage up to 1TB via microSD card slot.

For photography, it features a triple rear camera setup including a 50MP primary sensor, 8MP secondary camera, and a 2MP bokeh camera. The front camera is an 8MP sensor. It supports 4K video recording (8GB version only) and includes the Hidden Photos security feature for privacy.

Running on Funtouch OS 14 based on Android 14, the phone is powered by a 5000mAh battery with 44W fast charging support.
