Vivo X Fold 3 Pro foldable smartphone to launch in India on June 6: Here’s what to expect


Vivo is all set to launch its first foldable smartphone in India. The Chinese smartphone has confirmed that it will launch the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro smartphone in India next week.

Vivo has started sending out media invites for the launch of Vivo X Fold 3 Pro in India. The company has revealed that it will launch the foldable smartphone in the country on June 6. “We are thrilled to announce that we are expanding our flagship offerings in India – a masterstroke! Yes, the much-anticipated vivo X Fold3 Pro is debuting in India on Thursday, June 6, 2024,” reads the invite.

The foldable smartphone will be available online on Flipkart and has confirmed that it will come with Zeiss optics. The Vivo X Fold 3 Pro smartphone will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and pack 16GB of RAM and 1TB internal storage. The smartphone will run Android 14 operating system.

Vivo X Fold 3 Pro: Expected features
As previously mentioned, the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro is already available in China, and the Indian variant is expected to feature the same specifications. The device boasts an ultra-thin display with SGS Gold Label Five-Star Glass Drop Resistance and UTG super tough glass, complemented by a carbon fiber hinge.

The inner screen measures 8.03 inches with a resolution of 2480 x 2200, while the external screen is 6.53 inches with a resolution of 2748 x 1172. Both screens are AMOLED LTPO 120Hz displays, supporting 1.07 billion colours, 4,500 nits peak brightness, Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and ZREAL technology.

Vivo X Fold 3 Pro: Expected priceIn China, the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro comes with a starting price of 9,999 yuan (approximately Rs 1,17,000). In India, the phone may come with similar pricing.
