Xiaomi 13 Ultra tipped to debut on 18 April in China , smartphone confirmed to launch globally in the coming months


Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro have already been introduced in the global markets and next in line is the Xiaomi 13 Ultra. Xiaomi recently confirmed that it will be launching Xiaomi 13 Ultra this month in China but the smartphone brand didn’t mention anything about the launch date of this upcoming smartphone.  Though the smartphone has been spotted on a few certification websites which indicated that the launch is nearing. Now finally the launch date of Xiaomi 13 Ultra has been revealed online.

Famous tipster Abhishek Yadav who goes by @yabhishekhd on Twitter revealed that Xiaomi 13 Ultra will be launching on 18 April 2023 in China. Along with this the tipster also shared two images confirming the launch date.

Just like Xiaomi 13 and 13 Pro, this upcoming smartphone was also confirmed by the brand to make its debut globally including in India in the coming months. But till now the launch date of Xiaomi 13 Ultra is known for the Chinese markets only. As per a few reports, this smartphone will be the most premium smartphone from Xiaomi in 2023. With the launch of Xiaomi 13 Ultra, the brand will be continuing its partnership with Leica so we can expect the smartphone to feature Leica-tuned optics.

Let’s take a brief glance at the expected specifications of the Xiaomi 13 Ultra

The smartphone is expected to feature a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with QHD+ resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate. It might be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor which could be paired with up to 16 GB RAM and up to 512 GB internal storage. The device is supposed to house a 4900mAh battery with 90W fast charging support.

Earlier, the upcoming smartphone was also tipped to feature a quad rear camera set up with a 50MP primary camera, 50MP ultra-wide angle camera, 50MP telephoto sensor, and 50MP periscope telephoto camera. Along with this, it could pack up a 32MP front camera.
