Following the pictured molding units of the iPhone 16, a new image of the alleged new four iPhone models with polished design has now surfaced. This depicts that the footprint differences between the four models and the updated rear camera on the standard iPhones.
Sizing up all four Apple iPhone 16 models
Courtesy of leaker Sonny Dickson, the image shows the entire iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro lineups on their back side. And from it, we can make how each iPhone will size up knowing that the Pro models are getting larger displays.
Mainly, the iPhone 16 Pro Max with the rumored 6.9-inch screen estate stands to be the largest from the four, which noticeably dwarfs the iPhone 16 Plus. On the other hand, the smaller iPhone 16 Pro with a 6.3-inch display appears a wider and taller form than the vanilla iPhone 16 with 6.1-inch display.
In addition, both standard iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus are shown to have the vertical dual camera module housed on an elliptical island at the back. This is better showcased in another shot of the iPhone 16.
The redesigned camera placements on the iPhone 16 are said to enable spatial video recordings capability that was first added on the iPhone 15 Pro (review). The videos can then be viewed on the Vision Pro headset.
Apple iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro colorways
Concerning the colorways, the iPhone 16 Pro Max and iPhone 16 Pro come in light blue/gray and black variant, respectively. But per rumor, the iPhone Pro is said to launch in black, white, silver, and pink that replaces the current blue.
As for the iPhone 16, the smaller entry has a pink finish while the Plus is in black. Apart from these two finishes, a word coming out from China suggest the iPhone 16 range will be available in seven colors with the addition of white and purple into the existing hues of the iPhone 15 (review).
Other design changes were tipped to include a new “capture” button on the four iPhone 16 models and addition of an Action Button on the non-pro.
